Ryan's Pre-9th Birthday Party

Antwaun Molden, former American football cornerback, played for the New England patriots in the XLVI Super Bowl were he contributed four solo tackles on defense and one on special teams.  Through friends, Antwaun heard about Ryan's battle with cancer and his upcoming bone marrow transplant and surprised everyone by showing up at Ryan's 9th birthday party.  In addition, he gave Ryan his 2011 New England Patriots signed football with 21 of the team's signature. Notable signatures include Rob Grownkowski, Kevin Faulk, Devin McCourty, Jerod Mayo, Julian Edelman and Tim Brady.

Antwaun also visited Ryan several times during his 8-month stay at Texas Children's where we would have wild games of Phase 10.  Ryan would always pick a game that he knew would last the longest so he could spend as much time with Antwaun as possible.

Thank you Antwaun...you should see him now!  But be prepared to play some baseball, he is no longer tied down by IV's.

In addition, Ryan also met Miss Texas USA 2012, Brittany Booker.  And, in true Ryan form, he was in awe of her beauty.
